Students appointed on a university fellowship should receive their stipends within the first few days of the first day of classes of that semester. Ph.D. students appointed on university fellowships should receive their fall 2025 stipends by August 26, 2025. 

Fellowship funding is a source of financial aid for enrolled doctoral students. A student must be enrolled for the semester in which they will receive the funds. Please note, refunds issued via direct deposit take approximately 3 business days before being deposited into the designated US banking account. Paper checks take 7-10 days to arrive in the Office of the Bursar. You will receive an email once your stipend has been generated.
